Anthrax is set to release a new covers EP on March 19th called “Anthems”. As many who follow Anthrax know, the band is fairly faithful when doing covers, as evidenced when the band added some covers to their remasters of their 90s albums.
The track list for the six track EP is as follows:
“Anthem” (Rush), “Jailbreak” (Thin Lizzy), “T.N.T.” (AC/DC), “Smokin‘” (Boston), “Big Eyes” (Cheap Trick) and “Keep On Runnin’”(Journey).
The EP was recorded at various times throughout 2012, and still features the Rob Caggiano on lead guitar before his recent departure.
